According to North Carolina police, a woman has been arrested and charged with malicious castration and assault inflicting serious bodily injury after she squeezed a man’s scrotum until his testicles fell out. The suspect, Joyce Maxine Gregory, attacked a 59-year-old man during the middle of an argument the two were having in an apartment in Shelby on Saturday morning.
The man tried to go outside the apartment to call 911, which is when Gregory grabbed the man, squeezed his scrotum, causing his testicles to come dislodged. The responding officer, M.L. McPherson, said in the police report that the man’s “scrotum had been split open,” and “I was also able to observe one of the subject’s testicles protruding from the scrotum area.” The report also said that officers saw “blood on the floor of the porch and the siding of the residence.”
Also from the police report, the urologist who treated the victim said that stitches would help treat the injury and that the victim should not suffer any long-term damage to the area. It was also reported that when Gregory was arrested she took off her pants and then urinated in the back seat of the police vehicle. Gregory is being held on $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 18.
