American Lawyer just released its A-List for 2011. American Lawyer created and began releasing the list in 2003 as a way to rank the nation’s major law firms based on a number of factors including revenue per lawyer, attorney diversity, pro bono work, and associate satisfaction. The top three firms this year are Hughes Hubbard & Reed; Munger, Tolles & Olson; and Pauls, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. Associate satisfaction scores accounted for changes in the rank of many of the law firms on the list.
