The U.S. Justice department which was running without full strength since 2004 in the absence of confirmed top positions has now seen good times with the Senate confirming three high-level positions. Deputy Attorney General James Cole was confirmed 55-42 to succeed David Ogden,Virginia Seitz confirmed as Head of Legal Council of DOJ’s Office succeeding Jack Goldsmith and third Lisa Monaco to lead National Security Division of DOJ’s office.
