Congo Court Sentences 4 Officers to Death for Rights Activist’s Murder

Four officers were sentenced capital punishment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, for a murder of a human rights activist which occurred last year. The activist was a member of the group Voices for the Voiceless. Eight other policemen were given sentences with one receiving a life sentence in jail.
