John E. Bryson, the former CEO of utility firm Edison International has been announced as the U.S. Commerce Department Secretary by President Barack Obama. The President on this occasion said that Bryson is very experienced in public and private sectors. The secretary post was previously held by Gary Locke who has been made U.S. ambassador to China.
