Four Foreign Journalists Released from Jail by Libyan Government

On Wednesday, the Libyan government confirmed that it released four foreign journalists from jail. The released group included two Americans: James Foley and Clare Morgana. It also included Spanish photographer Manu Brabo and Briton Nigel Chandler. Still detained is South African photographer. The four released individuals were said to have entered Libya illegally and had their one-year sentences suspended by a judge. Now staying in Tripoli, the four released individuals can be escorted to the Tunisian boarder by the Libyan government if they so choose.
