All five lawyers from boutique firm Murphy & Shaffer have joined Zuckerman Spaeder in Baltimore. William J. Murphy, Robert T. Shaffer III and John J. Connolly will join as partners along with two associates.
The addition of the five attorneys will boster Zuckerman’s criminal defense and white collar crime defense practices, which took a hit after Gregg Bernstein, one the more high profile defense attorneys at the firm, was elected Baltimore City State’s Attorney.
Zuckerman opened its Baltimore office in 1987 and also maintains offices in Washington, New York, Tampa, and Wilmington, Delaware.
