Atlanta’s Hawkins & Parnell is opening its doors in Austin with the help of several partners from Brown McCarroll, according to a tipster.
Long-time partners Todd Wade, Kay Andrews, Bill Fountain, Taylor Smith, and Chris Ege, along with numerous associates and legal assistants are making the move.  Todd Wade and Kay Andrews were members of the management committee at Brown McCarroll.  The new office will be up and running on Wednesday, February 17.
Hawkins & Parnell was founded in 1963 and has offices in Atlanta, Georgia; Charleston, West Virginia; Dallas, Texas; Los Angeles, California; and St. Louis, Missouri. In Dallas, Los Angeles, and Missouri, the firm is known as Hawkins, Parnell & Thackston, LLP.
